Zaballos.<br \/><strong>Entidad de realizaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> CSIC, Instituto de Investigaciones Biom\u00e9dicas Sols-Morreale; Madrid.<br \/><strong>Fecha de la defensa:<\/strong> 08\/11\/2023.<\/p>\n<p>En esta <strong>tesis<\/strong> se ha estudiado el papel de las prote\u00ednas de andamiaje <strong>IQGAP1<\/strong> y <strong>2<\/strong> por estar relacionadas con la v\u00eda <strong>MAPK<\/strong>, la v\u00eda principal de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n activada en c\u00e1ncer de tiroides. Nuestros resultados confirman que la expresi\u00f3n de <strong>IQGAP1<\/strong> es mayor en tumores que en tejido sano y se asocia con mutaciones en <strong>BRAF<\/strong> y con caracter\u00edsticas <strong>cl\u00ednicopatol\u00f3gicas<\/strong> indicativas de una mayor agresividad. Por otro lado, <strong>IQGAP2<\/strong> se encuentra disminuido en tumores que portan una mutaci\u00f3n en <strong>BRAF<\/strong>, hecho que se asocia con el incremento de caracter\u00edsticas cl\u00ednicas asociadas a una mayor malignidad.
